Retired from University of Pune, Prof. Dr. Keval J. Kumar was the director of the Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune, India. He was visiting Professor at the University of Siegen, Germany, prior to his joining Symbiosis. He has also taught at Ohio State University, Bombay University and the Bahrain Training Institute. He is the current President of the Media Education Research Section, International Association of Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and Director of Resource Centre for Media Education and Research (RECMER).
